Oxford Emory captures fourth straight DIII title
Eagles swept all nine championship flights to win their fourth straight title

Peachtree City, GA – Oxford Emory (GA) proved victorious once again as the Eagles captured all nine flights at the 2018 NJCAA DIII Men's Tennis National Championship to claim their fourth consecutive title. The championship is the seventh overall for the Eagles, the most in NJCAA DIII history.
Oxford Emory displayed a dominant performance at the Peachtree City Tennis club with nine championship flights. Sophomore Guillermo Cabral captured the No. 1 Singles Flight for the second consecutive year.
- Onondaga's Fabrizio Tucci and Jeremy Attrill made a valiant run through the No. 1 Doubles Flight as the No. 6 seed to finish as runners-up to Cabral and Coston. Attrill also placed second in the No. 2 Singles Flight.
- Rowan-Gloucester earned two runners-up finishes in both the No. 2 and No. 3 Doubles Flight.
- Paulo Claure finished as a runner-up in both the No. 4 Singles Flight and the No. 2 Doubles Flight while Zach Carr placed second in the No. 5 Singles Flight and the No. 3 Doubles flight.
- Mercer County boasted a second-place finish in the No. 6 Singles Flight.
- Akbar Hasan of Nassau (NY) placed second in the No. 3 Singles Flight.
- The four-straight championships for Oxford Emory are tied for the longest stretch in DIII history, joining Rowan-Gloucester (2010-13).
