NJCAA announces new hires and role changes at the national office
Announcement involves six promotions for leadership roles, two new employees
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) has announced a series of new hires and staff role changes as the Association continues to strengthen its leadership, compliance, business operations and partnership support.
The organizational updates reflect the NJCAA's continued commitment to enhancing service to its member colleges and student-athletes while positioning the Association for continued growth.
Jeff White, Esq., has been named Executive Vice President, expanding his leadership role within the NJCAA National Office. Wanda Bodey has been elevated to Assistant Vice President, recognizing her continued contributions and leadership within the Association. Bodey is the longest-tenured employee of the NJCAA National Office with 32 years of service.
The NJCAA Compliance Department also has several other staff updates. Tyler Broderick has been named Compliance Manager, while Bobby Alexander has been elevated to Senior Compliance Associate. Broderick joined the NJCAA National Office in November 2022 as a Legal & Compliance Associate and Alexander joined in April 2024 as a Compliance Associate. Connor Mauritz joins the NJCAA as a new Compliance Associate, which strengthens the Association's compliance support and service to more than 500 NJCAA member colleges.
Within business operations, Monica Taylor has been named Business Operations Manager, reflecting her expanded role and responsibilities in supporting the Association's day-to-day operations. Taylor has been with the NJCAA since August 2025.
The NJCAA's partnership with Van Wagner also includes two personnel updates. Chris Haley has been named NJCAA General Manager, while Reid Bertram joins the team as Account Executive and Development Associate.
