Dr. Christopher Parker Appointed to AOC Executive Committee of the USOPC
Charlotte, NC– Dr. Christopher Parker, President and CEO of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA), has been appointed to serve on the Affiliate Organizational Council (AOC) Executive Committee of the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee (USOPC). This appointment highlights Dr. Parker's 8 years of serving on the USOPC and his dedication to advancing the Olympic movement and enhancing the impact of U.S. athletics on the global stage.
The AOC is a partnership between the USOPC and a number of community-based, military, adaptive, education-based, and recognized sport organizations. The mission of the AOC is to increase interest and national programming opportunities for sports participation in support of the Olympic and Paralympic movements through partnerships and collaboration efforts.
