NJCAA Foundation receives grant from Truist Foundation
The NJCAA Foundation receives a $25,000 grant from Truist Foundation to further support the creation, growth, sustainability of two-year college athletic programs.
Charlotte, NC – The NJCAA Foundation today announced it received a $25,000 grant from Truist Foundation that will go towards furthering the organization and its student-athletes in order to better promote and advance two-year collegiate athletics. The grant will go towards providing support for the NJCAA Sport Opportunity Grant over the next three years.
"The NJCAA Foundation is extremely honored to receive such a grant from Truist Foundation," said Brian Luckett, NJCAA Foundation Executive Director. "With this support, we will be able to provide greater opportunities for growth at our member colleges while also being able to provide more roster spots for student-athletes looking to further their education."
As champions of academic and athletic opportunity, the NJCAA Foundation supports the growing number of student-athletes interested in two-year degrees, promotes the affordability of the two-year option, and offers the resources needed for student-athletes and member colleges to succeed. The Truist Foundation grant will help support student-athletes, member colleges, national championships, and the entire association.
