Owen Brown joins the NJCAA National Office as Sport Operations & Championship Associate. Brown recently graduated from Syracuse University where he received his Bachelor of Science, Broadcast & Digital Journalism degree and a Minor in Sport Management. Although Brown attended college in NY he is originally from Charlotte where he attended South Mecklenburg HS and was the captain of the varsity soccer team.

Brown enjoys broadcasting and has announced baseball, soccer, and football for CNY Stream in NY, Queen City Corndogs and TST/TBT (The Soccer/Basketball Tournament) in the Charlotte region. Brown enjoys working with young people and has been a Sports Camp Counselor for the YMCA of Greater Charlotte.

Owen is a huge Liverpool fan. In his free time, you will probably find him in front of a TV watching soccer or any sport for that matter. He loves to try new food spots (and even considers himself a chicken sandwich connoisseur) as well as try new things around the Charlotte area. He also enjoys travelling to new countries and learning the history of other cultures. He grew up playing a plethora of sports, but now, he plays soccer, basketball, and pickleball. Growing up here in Charlotte, he is a huge fan of the Hornets, Panthers, and Charlotte FC, and of course, Go Cuse!
