#NJCAACares Hurricane Relief Update 

On August 31st, the NJCAA and Team IP - the associatoin's Official Championship Merchandise Provider - launched a project to raise funds for member colleges and their communities affected by Hurricane Harvey. The campaign began with the launch of a special "Texas Strong - #NJCAACares" t-shirt that has been well received. 

Over $14,000 have been raised thus far to assit NJCAA Region 14 member colleges and their communities ravaged by the storm. What an increddible display of compassion and unity within the NJCAA! 

There is still time to participate. Bulk orders (24 or more shirts) are the best way to make your dollars go to those in need. Cost is $15 per t-shirt (minimum order would be $360). Deadline to order is Friday, September 8th. Please call Team IP directly to submit an order at 1-877-821-8643 (toll free) or 772-398-4664. Individual online orders will be accepted through a special website - njcaacares.com - at $24.99 each, plus shipping & handling. Online orders of 24 or more will be given a 40% discount, dropping the price per t-shirt to $14.99, plus shipping and handling. 

In addition, ArbiterSports, the officiating management partner of the NJCAA, has stepped forward to match any monetary donation to the NJCAA's Hurricane Relief Fund up to $5,000. To make a monetary donation to the NJCAA’s Hurricane Relief Campaign, please mail a check to the NJCAA via the address below and write “NJCAA Hurricane Relief Fund” in the memo. Credit card donations can also be taken over the phone at 719-590-9788. The NJCAA is a 501c3 not-for-profit organization, so all donations are tax deductible.
