Weekend Preview - NJCAA Women's Basketball
Charlotte, NC - With the 2021 NJCAA Women's Basketball season underway, three divisions of ranked matchups will occur this weekend as teams compete on the court in hopes of remaining at the top of next week's polls.
NJCAA Division I Women's Basketball
Second-ranked Kirkwood (IA) will play host to No. 19 Iowa Central who have yet to lose this season.
In a battle of Region 2 rivals, No. 11 Arkansas State Mid-South will face off with No. 14 Southern Arkansas University Tech on Saturday, January 8.
NJCAA Division III Women's Basketball
No. 3 Anoka-Ramsey (MN) will look to continue its three-game winning streak into a Saturday, January 8 matchup with receiving votes Riverland (MN). Both teams are among the top offensive teams in the country. The Blue Devils lead the nation with 79.6 points per game and the Rams are third in the nation averaging 75.5 points per game.
The nation's team rebounding leader No. 6 RCSJ Gloucester (NJ), 57.2 rebounds per game, will look to bounce back after suffering its first loss of the season as they host receiving votes Passaic County (NJ) on Saturday, January 8.
