Tommy Stewart inducted into NJCAA Track & Field Coaches Association Hall of Fame

Charlotte, NC – The NJCAA has announced Tommy Stewart to be inducted into the NJCAA Track & Field Coaches Association Hall of Fame. Stewart will be enshrined into the 2026 class as a contributor to Holyoke's success. Read below for more information on Tommy Stewart.

Tommy Stewart's induction into the NJCAA Track & Field Coaches Association Hall of Fame recognizes more than 35 years of outstanding service and leadership in collegiate athletics. Since being named Director of Athletics at Holyoke Community College in 1998, he has overseen nine intercollegiate programs and strengthened the college's presence within the NJCAA. At the national level, Stewart serves on the NJCAA Board of Regents as the Region 21 representative and was elected 2nd Vice President for the men's division in 2016, where he oversaw the association's budgetary operations. He has also contributed to the finance and budget committee, demonstrating his leadership beyond campus. 

Stewart has made a lasting impact on track and field, serving on the NJCAA Track and Field Committee for approximately 20 years while also chairing the Division III Men's and Women's Golf Committees. He has hosted nine NJCAA Cross Country Championships and one NJCAA Track and Field Championship, providing high-level opportunities for student-athletes nationwide. His long-standing dedication, administrative excellence, and commitment to student-athletes is evident throughout his career.
