College of DuPage to Host 2026 NJCAA Flag Football Invitational
Charlotte, NC – The National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) announced today the 2026 NJCAA Flag Football Invitational will be held at the College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, on May 6-9. The games will be played at Bjarne Ullsvik Stadium.
"We are excited to host this NJCAA emerging sport national invitational," College of DuPage Director of Athletics, Ryan Kizer stated. "Women's Flag Football only continues to grow and athletic departments continue to fund this wonderful new sport opportunity for women."
2026 marks the fourth year of flag football in the NJCAA and the largest field of participating schools. Six teams will be divided into two pools of three teams to determine seeding for bracket play. Florida Gateway returns to the Invitational seeking its fourth-straight NJCAA title.
"We are both appreciative and enthusiastic about the upcoming NJCAA Flag Football Invitational hosted at the College of DuPage," NJCAA Flag Football Committee Chair, Courtney Pruitt, commented. "It is especially encouraging to see a fellow National Junior College Athletic Association member institution take the lead in hosting this event, as efforts like these are instrumental in advancing and elevating the sport."
Tickets will be available onsite for $10 per day; children under the age of six receive free admission. Parking is free on campus in Lot 1, located south of the PEC Arena. The recommended spectator hotel is the DoubleTree by Hilton Lisle/Naperville. All games will be streamed for free by the College of DuPage here.
