FULTON, MS – Johnthan McGee only score five points in ICC’s 92-87 overtime win over Coahoma Community College, but three of those points were the biggest points of the night.

Trailing 79-76, McGee was fouled on a game-tying three-point attempt with .03 left in the game. He knocked down the first attempt with ease before the Tigers (1-7, 0-2 MACJC North) called a timeout, but the sophomore from Raymond was unfazed as he knocked down the final two attempts to send the game into overtime.

The Indians (4-4, 2-0 MACJC North) rallied from a 10-point deficit inside two minutes left to play before forcing the game into overtime.

Freshman Tay Crawford (Aberdeen) came off the bench to score a career-high 25 points and 11 rebounds to record his first-ever collegiate double-double.

Tyrone Wooten (Memphis, TN) had 17 points off the bench while Alex Anderson (Memphis, TN) added 15 in the win.

Tory Rice (Starkville) had his first double-double of the season with 13 points and 10 rebounds.

Both teams combined for 99 free throws as the Indians hit 45-of-60 attempts and the Tigers connected on 15-of-39 trips to the charity stripe.

Markevius Brown scored a game-high 26 with four other Tigers scoring in double figures in the loss.
