Charlotte, NC – As another year of NJCAA competition draws near, student-athletes, coaches, staff, fans, and alumni make their return to two-year college campuses around the nation. To gear up for the 2019-20 campaign, the 81st in the history of the association, the NJCAA will host its third annual Welcome Back Week – a social media-driven campaign to highlight the upcoming season.
This year’s Welcome Back Week is scheduled for August 12-16. With a new feature each day, member schools, student-athletes, staff, alumni, fans and all those associated with the NJCAA, past and present, are encouraged to participate via social media to show their excitement for the upcoming season using the #NJCAABack hashtag across all platforms.
“August is always an exciting time for our membership,” stated NJCAA Director of Marketing & Communications Ricky Webster. “With a new year comes opportunity for growth and success. Our student-athletes, our coaches and staff welcome the challenge to compete for the second largest collegiate athletic association in the United States while building a pathway to a bright future. We encourage all those with ties to the NJCAA to express their excitement for another year of NJCAA competition.”

Posts collected throughout each day will be contributed in a daily recap on the NJCAA website, www.njcaa.org. For a complete recap of last year's Welcome Back Week, visit: 2018 NJCAA Welcome Back Week
