NJCAA Announces Partnership with Don Cameron and Associates
CHARLOTTE, NC — The National Junior College Athletic Association has announced a partnership with Don Cameron and Associates, an educational leadership and consulting firm led by Dr. Donald Cameron, President Emeritus of Guilford Technical Community College and longtime advocate for two-year college education.
Through the partnership, Don Cameron and Associates will serve as an Official Executive Coaching and Leadership Development partner of the NJCAA to support leadership development, institutional advancement, and strategic engagement opportunities for NJCAA member colleges and athletics administrators. The collaboration will focus on strengthening the connection between athletics, campus leadership, student success, and the broader mission of community and two-year colleges across the country.

Don Cameron & Associates was formed in 2011 after Dr. Cameron retired with 40 years of experience working in community colleges, with the last 20 years as president. Dr. Cameron has received three nationally recognized certifications in Executive Coaching and Leadership Training. Over the past 15 years, he has provided executive coaching to over 50 CEOs and vice presidents and conducted leadership development programs for over 1,000 leadership participants.
As a result of his outstanding achievement, the American Association of Community Colleges inducted him into their Leadership Hall of Fame at their annual conference in 2023.
