Amateur Certification Center
The NCAA Initial-Eligibility and Amateur Clearinghouse (now named the NCAA Eligibility Center) charges a fee of 50 dollars for U.S. citizens (domestic) and 75 dollars for international students. This is a one time fee and will only need to be updated (without charge) when the student-athlete is ready to attend an NCAA Division 1 or 2 institution.

The clearinghouse is an online process which determines initial and future NCAA eligibility.

It is the opinion of the NJCAA and the NJCAA Executive Committee that this process is vitally important in determining the eligibility status of future student athletes, in particular, international student-athletes where much of the previous documentation is difficult to obtain.

Entering and being certified by the NCAA Eligibility Center in the initial eligibility/amateur clearinghouse is strictly voluntary by NJCAA member institutions and student-athletes.
