Brian Beck
Assistant Executive Director; Compliance

Brian joined the staff of the NJCAA in July 2008. His current position of Director of Compliance oversees the eligibility and hardship processes. Brian works daily with member institutions providing guidance and upholding the bylaws of the NJCAA.

Brian comes to the NJCAA with 12 years of experience as an athletic administrator at NJCAA member colleges. He has served at Hagerstown Community College, Maryland in region 20 and Gloucester County College, New Jersey in region 19. During his career at the institutional level he has served both as Assistant Athletic Director and Athletic Director. Brian also has a coaching background leading the Hagerstown softball program from 1997-2003. He also served brief stints with the women's basketball and men's golf teams. He also coached football and girls basketball at the high school level while in Maryland.

Brian brings leadership experience to the NJCAA as he has served in the Garden State Athletic Conference as both Vice President and President. He has also served at President of the Softball Coaches Association for the Maryland Junior College Athletic Conference. Brian served a brief stint as the NJCAA Region 20 Men's Assistant Director.

Beck is a 1987 graduate of James Madison University with a degree in Sports management. During his time at JMU he was
associated with both the football and track and field teams.
