Colorado Springs, CO – St. Clair County Community College in Port Huron, MI was awarded the bid for the 2020, 2021, and 2022 NJCAA DII Women’s Basketball National Championship.
“We continue to look at new ways to help maximize student and community success,” said Dr. Deborah Snyder, SC4 president. “This win illustrates the significant benefits of strategic community investments, shared goals and values, and meaningful partnerships. We have greater impact when we work together.”
The 16-team tournament will be held at the newly opened SC4 Fieldhouse which includes the Skipper Sports Hall of Fame, the Port Huron Sports Hall of Fame and the SC4 Tower. Dale Vos, SC4 Athletic Director and Tournament Director looks forward to showing off the newest addition to his campus. “We are excited to bring our first-ever NJCAA Championship to the Blue Water Area of Michigan. Our College and our Community will be partnering to create a championship experience that will give the student athletes a lifetime of memories.”
