Daytona State golfer Mitsuki Katahira Ranked No. 1 in women's amateur golf

Current Daytona State College (Fla.) golfer Mitsuki Katahira is the No. 1 ranked amateur women's golfer according to the newest rankings released by the World Amateur Golf Ranking website (http://www.randa.org/en/WAGR.aspx). Last year, Katahira (a native of Japan) took first place at the NJCAA Women's Golf Championship, shooting a 211 (-5) for the tournament, which is the lowest three-round score in NJCAA tournament history. Katahira also set an individual record by shooting a 64 on day two - the lowest single round score by an individual.
