Finally on Tuesday, Field 3 at Fun Valley looked like its old self and the Lady Dragons unloaded on the McPherson College Junior Varsity to the tune of a combined 20 runs and 27 hits in a doubleheader sweep on Thursday.

Six different players had multi-hit games led by Brittany Delaney’s three hits as Hutchinson defeated the McPherson JV 12-0 in five innings in Thursday’s opener. Makenzi Shackley led a 13-hit attack in Game 2 with three hits and two RBIs as HCC needed six innings to earn the sweep with an 8-0 victory.
