Ancilla Men's Basketball Cannot Find Answer for Muskegon

PLYMOUTH, IN – The Ancilla men's basketball team lost a conference game to Muskegon Community College Wednesday 85-76. The loss brings their record to 7-11 on the regular season and 1-7 in MCCAA.
Coach Butcher commented, "I was proud of our effort tonight. I thought we competed for 40 minutes. We faced a lot of adversity and responded well, although the result was not in our favor. We have to regroup and get ready for round 2 of conference play."
Top performances were turned in by Demetrius Adams (Lake Station, IN) with 22 points and 9 rebounds. Rosey Green (South Bend, IN) contributed 19 points while Jacob Frazier (Niles, MI) added 21 points and 6 rebounds for the Chargers.
The Chargers continue MCCAA play when they travel to Jackson Community College on Monday, February 4th.
Ancilla College enrolls 500 students in 17 degree programs ranging from accounting to nursing. It was founded by the Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ in 1937, and is located 2 miles south of US 30 on Union Road near Plymouth.
