Ocala, FL – Sarah Hunter led the Central Florida Patriots (4-20, 1-6 MFC) past the Santa Fe Saints Wednesday evening with a 30 point effort, giving CF their first conference win of the season.  With the loss, the Saints fall to 15-10 overall and 3-4 in MFC play.

Santa Fe trailed by only two at halftime 28-26 but the Patriots 47 second half points were enough for the double digit win.

SF was just 22-for-72 from the field, 6-for-28 from the three point line and turned it over 26 times.

Monique Bunk led Santa Fe with 17 points, six rebounds and five assists, Paulina Zaveckaite had 11 points and 16 rebounds, giving her 398 boards on the season, tops in the country by more than 100.  Tay Couch and Shanice Clark had 10 points each.

The Saints return to the court in a week on Wednesday February 6 at home against Hillsborough CC at 6:00 PM.
