SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Tompkins Cortland Community College women's basketball team took on one of the top teams in the region Saturday, and the result was a 92-49 loss for the Panthers. TC3 lost at Onondaga Community College to drop to 4-11 overall and 2-3 in the Mid-State Athletic Conference. Onondaga is now 16-2 overall and 5-0 in conference.

TC3 trailed 49-28 at the half and could never get back into contention as the home team ran away with the game. Becca Holton Tomasdottir (Cape Fear Academy (N.C.)/Reykjavik, Iceland) led TC3 with 12 points followed by Meghan Ideman (Moravia H.S./Moravia) with 11 points. Audrey Kate Ordway (Dryden H.S./Dryden) had a team-high eight rebounds to go with eight points.

TC3 hosts Cayuga Community College Wednesday.
