Ancilla Chargers Back on Track with Win at Grace College
 December 7, 2012

WINONA LAKE, IN – The Ancilla College men's basketball defeated Grace College JV last night 78-62.  The win boosts their record to 6-2 on the regular season.

Coach Butcher stated, "It was a good effort against a team that was playing some guys that had a lot of experience playing college basketball. We needed to get a win to get back on track.  We will not focus our attention to #4 Danville and they great opportunity that awaits us Wednesday."
A top performance by Jacob Frazier (Niles, MI) who added 18 points and 8 rebounds complimented by Demetrius Adams (Lake Station, IN) who had 15 points and 14 rebounds.  Rosey Green (South Bend, IN) added 16 points while Jakyah Quayim (Elkhart, IN) added 9 points for the Chargers.
The Chargers continue to work when they host Danville Area Community College Wednesday, December 12th with tipoff at 7:30p.m.  The Chargers then close out the first part of their schedule with a home game against Illinois Valley Community College Friday, December 14th.
Ancilla College enrolls 500 students in 17 degree programs ranging from accounting to nursing. It was founded by the Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ in 1937, and is located 2 miles south of US 30 on Union Road near Plymouth.
