CHICAGO, IL – The Lady Chargers basketball team continued their winning ways with a victory 61-41 over Wilbur Wright College.  The Lady Chargers are now 3-5 in regular season play and go into their next contest with a two game win streak.

Coach Beason stated, “This is the first game where I felt we were in control from start to finish; which was great since two of our starters did not play due to injuries in the Prairie State win.  We had multiple players step up and have significant roles in tonight's win.  We still have some things to work on but I feel really good about this team and what we can accomplish.”
A top performance from Kaylia Richardson (Indianapolis, IN) with 22 points, 14 rebounds, and 5 steals while Hope Wagner (Knox, IN) had 14 points.  Sydney Beaune (Sault Sainte Marie, MI) had 8 points and 13 rebounds, Kelly Duke (Vicksburg, MI) added 8 points and 9 rebounds.

Coach Beason spoke of the upcoming opponent, “Danville is our last game of the semester at home on December 12th and we are going to have our hands full!  If we play like I know we're capable of, we will give ourselves a great opportunity to end the semester on a three game win streak."

The Lady Chargers will host Danville Area Community College December 12th with tipoff at 5:30p.m.
