Former NJCAA Baseball Players Andy Pettitte and Jorge Posada Help Yankees to 2009 World Series Title

Pettitte, who attended San Jacinto College (Texas) in 1990, went 4-0 during the postseason for the Yankees with a 3.52 ERA and was the winning pitcher in the deciding Game Six. Posada, an alumnus of Calhoun Community College (Ala.), batted .260 in the postseason with two home runs, eight RBIs, and five runs scored.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- The NJCAA proudly congratulates former NJCAA baseball players Andy Pettitte and Jorge Posada in helping the New York Yankees win the 2009 World Series. Posada has now won five titles with the Yankees and Posada has been a part of four World Series championship teams in New York.
