Glen Oaks Wins against Ancilla
 January 23, 2014

PLYMOUTH, IN – After a back and forth battle, the Vikings of Glen Oaks Community College outscored the Ancilla College men’s basketball team by a score of 88-78.

Juwan Johnson ended the evening with 23 points, leading the Charger offense. Ancilla’s Xavier Ringo put up nineteen points of his own, while Andrenos Powell (13) and Demetrius Adams (12) combined for 25 points. Aiding the Charger offensive effort was Rosey Green who dished out seven assists. On the glass, Jay Feltson was tops for Ancilla, as he pulled down eleven total rebounds (6 offensive and 5 defensive).

Charger head coach Aaron Butcher expressed, “I was proud of our effort. Unfortunately, we had too many breakdowns on the defensive end. Glen Oaks has some talented individuals and we didn't do a great job of limiting touches. We will now focus our efforts to Muskegon as we go on the road again Saturday.”

Tipoff is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 25, as Ancilla travels to take on Muskegon Community College.

Ancilla College, part of The Center at Donaldson, offers 18 Associate’s Degree and eight athletic programs. Since 1937, the College has been a sponsored ministry of the Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ and is located two miles south of US 30 on Union Road near Plymouth, Indiana.
