Indians down Lions to remain unbeaten in division play

Up 93-92, the Indians (10-5, 5-0 MACJC North) inbound the ball to midcourt and a foul was whistled on ICC when Johnthan McGee and an East Mississippi defender collided into each other going for the ball.

East Mississippi knocked down the first of two free throws with less than a second left in the game, but missed the second attempt to send the game into a second overtime tied 93-93.

Lakee Westbrook (Shannon) was fouled on a three-point attempt and knocked all three attempts to put the Indians (10-5, 5-0 MACJC North) up 105-103. East Mississippi (9-4, 1-2 MACJC North) threw the ball the length of the floor, but the ball went out of bounds giving the Indians the ball underneath their own basket with 3.1 to play.

Austin Timms (Mooreville) knocked down a pair of free throws to put the game on ice and help the Indians remain unbeaten in division play.

Alex Anderson (Memphis, TN) scored 25 points and dished out 8 assists, Tory Rice scored 18, McGee and Westbrook each added 16 with Tyrone Wooten (Memphis, TN) scoring 12 in the win.
