TC3 Women Drop Road Game
 January 15, 2014

CORNING, N.Y. – The road was unkind to the Tompkins Cortland Community College women's basketball team Tuesday, as the Panthers came home from Corning Community College with a 66-53 loss. The result leaves TC3 with a record of 1-2 in the Mid-State Athletic Conference and 3-8 overall. Corning is now 2-1 in the MSAC and 5-8 overall.

It was a one-point game at the half, with Corning leading 29-28. The home team pulled away in the second half, in part due to a rough night at the foul line for TC3. As a team, the Panthers went 11-for-32 from the charity stripe, by far a season worst.

Ruthanne Forehand (Groton H.S./Groton) led TC3 with 15 points and four steals. Audrey Kate Ordway (Dryden H.S./Dryden) led the team in rebounds with 11 to go along with five points and three steals. Jaquela Lockwood (Fowler H.S./Syracuse) grabbed 10 rebounds while scoring six points and blocking four shots.

TC3 hosts Onondaga Community College Saturday.
