Charger Women Drop to Grand Rapids
February 18, 2013
PLYMOUTH, IN – The Lady Chargers basketball team lost a conference game Friday 55-38 to Grand Rapids Community College. The Lady Chargers are now 3-19 in regular season play and 0-13 MCCAA West.
Coach Beason stated, “I think we played really flat against Grand Rapids. Not to take anything away from them, they work hard and play with a lot of effort and we were lacking in that category on Saturday. If we fix a few things, there are still games left for us to win.”
Top performances were turned in from Kaylia Richardson (Indianapolis, IN) with 22 points and 17 rebounds while Hope Wagner (Knox, IN) contributed 9 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 blocks for the Lady Chargers.
The Lady Chargers continue MCCAA West play when they travel to Kellogg Community College Wednesday, February 20.
