ODESSA (Nov. 27, 2012) – Odessa College received good news today. The following news release from Golf World announced that Odessa College’s men’s golf team laid claim to the No. 1 ranking in the final fall Golf World/Nike Golf men’s NJCAA Division I coaches’ poll.

Odessa & South Mountain Claim Top Spots in Final Fall Coaches’ Poll

(NEW YORK, NY)—The final Golf World /Nike Golf NJCAA Divisions I & II College Coaches’ Poll of the2012 Fall Season have been released, combining the resources of Golf World  magazine, Nike Golf and the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). The complete results, including results from Divisions I, II, III  and NAIA will appear in the December 10, 2012 issue of Golf World  and are live now: http://golfdig.st/fnmTj6

With the first half of the 2012-13 season completed, Odessa and South Mountain lay claim to the No. 1 ranking in the final fall Golf World /Nike Golf men's NJCAA D-I and D-II coaches' poll.

Odessa earned seven of the nine available first-place votes in the D-I poll to retain their spot atop the ranking. South Mountain was the unanimous D-II choice, earning all seven first-place votes.
