November 19, 2012
DONALDSON, IN – The Ancilla College men's basketball team continued their success with a win Saturday over Edison Community College to stay undefeated 5-0 regular season record.
Coach Butcher commented, "This was a great test for us. Edison is a very good basketball team. I was proud of the way that our guys competed. We didn't have our best shooting night, but our defense was able to keep us in it when we went through the rough offensive stretches."
Outstanding performances by Demetrius Adams (Lake Station, IN) who had 28 points, 10 rebounds and Jacob Frazier (Nile, MI) 13 points and 10 rebounds led the Chargers. Rosey Green (South Bend, IN) added 26 points with 4 assists while Corey Burton (Edinburgh, IN) tallied 5 assists.
During the five-game win streak the Chargers have a positive point differential of 160 points. The Chargers look to continue their dominance as they travel to Chicago facing Prairie State College Saturday, November 29th.
