Toledo, OH---Glenroy Miller scored three goals, Piet-Lennart Louwes had three assists, and three others scored two goals apiece as the No. 15 Express men's soccer team defeated Lorain County Community College 12-0 today.

Juavanie Cole scored the first goal for the Express at the 7:35 mark of the match. The Express would then add nine more goals over the next 22 minutes to take a 10-0 just under 30 minutes into the match.

The 12 goals tied the program record for most goals in one game (12 vs Kellogg CC on Sept. 8, 2007), and the team could have scored much more against the overmatched Commodores. Owens played with only seven or eight players for the entire second half. This was after pulling most of their starters midway through the first half.

Cole continued his goal streak as the sophomore scored two more goals today, pushing his two-day total to five and his season total to six. Derrick Skillman and Virgil Garcia also scored two goals apiece for the Express. Garcia scored three goals this weekend.

Meanwhile, Miller continued his push toward's Sean Bucknor's single season program record of 28 goals. His three goals today pushed his total to 19 through 12 games, and he temporarily takes over the nation's #1 spot for most goals scored.

Additionally, Miller has now tied Sean Brown's 19 goal finish in 2002 for the sixth most goals in one season. He pushed his career total to 35, which ties Rodcliff Hall for third most career goals in program history.

The three assists for Louwes are his first three of the season. He ties four others for the second most assists in one match in program history - including Cole, who had three assists on Aug. 28 of last year.

Vijay Gentles, Brandon Cruz and Blake Niemiec all added single goals - the first of the year for each player. Cruz and Niemiec added their goals in the second half.

Miller, Chris Kervick, David Ortega-Gonzalez, Vespi each picked up single assists, while Nickyle Webber had two assists.

Webber had four assists this weekend, and he pushed his team-high season total to 11. He now has a shot at Jeff Brown's single season assist record of 17 in 2001. Currently, he is tied with Michael Hamouda for fifth most in a single season. He passed Josiemar Crooks (10, 2006) and Ahmad Roudbari (10, 2004) on the list today. Webber also has 16 career assists, which puts him on the brink of the top five.

Josh Kleinow played the first half in goal for the Express and did not see a shot on goal. Vespi saw his first action of the season in goal as he played the entire second half, while making one save.

The Express (9-2-1 overall) now have the third best 12 game start in program history behind the 2004 team's 10-2 record and the 2007 team's 10-1-1 start. They will look to stay undefeated in the OCCAC with a matchup against Cuyahoga Community College on the road Wednesday beginning at 4 p.m.
