Rawls Golf Course in Lubbock, Texas Hosts NJCAA DI Men's Golf Championship May 14-17

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The top players in NJCAA Division I men’s golf will take to the Rawls Golf Course in Lubbock, Texas to compete for the 2013 national championship beginning Tuesday, May 14th. Over 120 golfers from 28 NJCAA member colleges will be taking part in the four-day competition that concludes Friday, May 17th. The event is being hosted by South Plains College and Lubbock Sports.
Indian Hills Community College (Iowa) has won the last two national championships in Division I men’s golf and is looking to become the first team to win three straight since Central Alabama Community College’s three-beat from 1999-2001.
IHCC’s Ben Ludlam is the top individual in the field. He finished tied for sixth a year ago when the tournament was held at Sand Creek Station in Newton, Kan.

There is no daily charge for fans planning to attend the tournament at the Rawls. Those wishing to rent a cart may do so for a fee of $30. Carts are rented on a first come, first serve basis and there is a very limited supply.
