The National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA), as the governing body for two-year college
athletics in the United States, offers a perfect opportunity for you to promote and advertise your company,
leverage your product and service, increase sales and entertain valued clients or reward employees. This
will all take place within a marketplace that will spend millions of dollars on products and services each
year. Not only will you gain access to over 500 member colleges, 47 national championships and 8 football bowl games but alumni and general fans of two-year college athletics that number in excess of 50 million. The NJCAA member colleges are comprised of 6,000 coaches and 50,000 student athletes who compete in 15 men's and 13 women's sports. Each member college hosts approximately 55,000 events on their campuses during the course of an academic year. It is estimated that over 5 million students, not including faculty, staff, and fans, will have access to NJCAA facilities through sporting events in the course of a given sports season. An additional 200,000 youth will attend the member colleges to participate in sports and other extra curricular camps throughout the season. The NJCAA is in the midst of developing a comprehensive marketing and partnership campaign to support existing sponsors and build new platforms for companies with an interest in the collegiate student and student-athlete market. This campaign will offer benefits to companies in a marketplace that is quickly becoming an effective venue for reaching the generation x population. Two-year college athletics is not only vast but a very viable market to reach. Consider that:
There are 10.4 million students enrolled in two-year colleges across the nation. 44% of all undergraduates across the country are enrolled in two-year colleges. 45% of all first-year freshmen attend a two-year college. The average enrollment of two-year colleges is 12,300 students. Sixty-one percent (61%) of students are 35 years of age or younger. 58% of the students nationwide are women. More than 70,000 two-year college students transfer annually to universities. More than 75,000 students each year go directly into occupational jobs. Eighty-nine percent (89%) of students who complete their studies at a two-year college register a 47% gain in wages after three years. The number of students enrolled in two-year colleges continues to grow and with the numerous budget cuts occurring at state and national levels, it is expected to keep growing. Your investment will be placed in the hands of an Association that wants you involved today and well into the future. |
