SCRANTON, PA - Johnson College is pleased to announce the hiring of Jonathan Kulas as head coach.  Kulas spent last season as assistant coach for Johnson College in which he helped coach the Jaguars to tie the most wins in school history. Jonathan’s work ethic and knowledge of the game made him the perfect fit to take over the reins for the Jaguars.

Prior to joining the Steamers he was at Marywood University where he was an assistant coach for three seasons.  In the three seasons as assistant coach the Pacers put together the programs first consecutive 10 win seasons a long with a program record 15 wins.  During that time Marywood earned two CSAC playoff appearances and one trip to the ECAC post season tournament.   His duties were coaching individual workouts with players that earned First Team All-CSAC honors (Sidney Tharpe and Pince Blacknall).  He also had responsibilities of scouting students from high school organizations, scout upcoming opponents, developing practice schedules, and organize the team facilities.
