Northeast Miss football team wears pink to support Breast Cancer Awareness

MANLY TO WEAR PINK - Northeast Mississippi Community College football players showed that it was manly to wear pink in their final game of the 2009 season against Northwest in Senatobia on Saturday, October 24. Players donned pink eyeblack stickers to proclaim their support for breast cancer awareness. Northeast wide receiver Steve Smith, Jr., (5) of Jackson decided to put his Susan G. Komen for the Cure Running Ribbon eyeblack sticker on his wrist as the Tigers battled the Rangers at Bobby Franklin Field.
